This is so true Jennifer! I touched on it a bit here when I speak about cost clients v.s value clients and being perceived as a long-term partner rather than a gig worker. This is one of the keys to successful, stress-free freelancing.

I also find, however, that I crave variety. So while I love working over and over again for a roster of sticky clients, I also love finding new, different work that stretches my creative boundaries and let’s me make new business connections. Finding that balance between ongoing work for existing clients and new work is where the freelance sweet spot occurs for me.
