Really nice article Jamal. I can associate with all of these points. Digital design has such a low barrier of entry, and an abundance of superficial inspiration, all which generate a lot of design that may look impressive upon first glance, but it’s not so great when you dig deeper. You’ve done an excellent job of pinpointing some of the design thinking that separates truly great design.
