Many great points here. Freelancing is not for everyone. You have to be as passionate about running your own business as you are about doing your work. If that’s not you, stick to employment.

I would say you need to give freelancing at least 2 years to allow yourself time to build up your business. If you give up too early you haven’t given yourself a chance to earn the really good aspects of it.

I’ve been freelancing for 20 years and would never do it differently.
