I find this point extremely valuable and under-appreciated by new designers. It echoes a lot of what I said here. Our industry changes so quickly. The skills that will give you the most flexibility to adapt are the unchanging principles of design. Don’t get too caught up in techniques or tools until you’ve mastered those!
