I agree. I didn’t mean to downplay the concern and the real damage this is causing some organisations. It certainly is damaging when people are misrepresenting their skills and experience, and hirers can’t tell the difference between who’s good and who isn’t. But I also think that’s nothing new. Across all industries, this problem has existed forever. It’s not specific to design. Some of the blame has to fall on hirers for not being smart enough about who they hire, no?
