Hey Abbey, I’m not a writer but I am a very-long-time freelancer who already get’s quite a lot of my work through referrals. Yet your stories about how to become more “referrable” where still very enlightening and I learned some new tricks. You’re right that people don’t talk enough about how to get referrals, even though we all know and understand that they are the holy grail of client acquisition. Thanks for starting that conversation. It’s inspired me to maybe write a piece about it from a freelance design perspective.
